Queer artist DMINQ’s new album “30” brings emotional R&B vibes that we love!

From start to finish, this album is definitely a must listen for any R&B fan!

From his iconic black frames, to his distinctive style and voice, singer DMINQ has been making a major impact on both the LGBTQ music scene and music in general. His unapologetic style and undeniable confidence always shines through, and his new album 30, which is being released today, is no exception.

The album intro creates an honest and raw soundscape for the album, with DMNIQ addressing us frankly and blunt. The words are powerful, and the instrumental evokes emotion.

The transition to the next song, titled “Be Great” is sudden but slick. The bright vocal melodies really hook us in. The lyrical direction is uplifting and chill, pulling the song together making it one of my favorite songs from the album.

Track three, titled “Drunk” brings us an intoxicating dark R&B vibe. The instrumental is really catchy, and the hook is fun to sing along with. The feature from Quincy Tyree brings a sexy rap perspective to the track, with a cadence that holds our attention. This song is a complete bop!

“Come Thru” brings us a slow paced R&B vibe, with enamoring vocal tones. I adore the vocal stacking and vocal melodies on this track. This song is a great listen for any smoke session or night time car ride.

Track five, “Worst Way”, brings us more chill R&B vibes, with several addictive lines and a catchy hook. DMINQ’s vocal melodies carry us through the track with ease, making it feel as if we’re floating at times from the cadence and vocal delivery. This song is a must listen from the album!

“Tonight” is another slow paced R&B hit, with emotional lyrics and sensual undertones. The instrumental combined with DMINQ’s vocal melodies make us really get into the track. This song is an absolute must add to any bedroom playlist!

Track seven, titled “You Do,” brings us a combination of emotional R&B vibes with a hook that keeps us coming back for more. The feature on the track from Prince Cat-Eyez brings a different cadence and vibe that perfectly correlates with the energy of the song. All in all, this is definitely one of my favorites from the album!

“The Closer I Get To You” nears the end of the album as the second to last song. It has a reflective energy to it, with DMINQ’s vocal delivery absolutely taking us there. I adore the Lo-Fi vibes this song brings, and definitely plan on listening to this on rainy days or long car rides.

As the last track of the album, “Beautiful” brings us bright and energetic pop vibes. DMNIQ’s vocal delivery here really shines, and so does his songwriting. We love the catchy hook in this song, and definitely recommend adding it to any beach or pool playlists.
