Tareq releases new single ‘Upside Down’ with remixes
London-based artist Tareq’s new single “Upside Down” has just been released with new remixes from Paramour, Autow Nite Superstore and Tareq himself!
“Upside Down” is a song that speaks of a world of joy and happiness without emotions, something that is paradoxical. The single also comes along with a music video directed by Giagkos Papadopoulos.
“My idea was influenced by Tareq’s experiences in Athens and Thessaloniki and it is something that characterises him,” says Papadopoulos. “In the background, I wanted the blue sky to exist only on the horizon, so I adapted two worlds in one, something that the song inspired me to do!”
“Upside Down” is on Tareq’s latest album PRINTS, which contains collaborations with Natassa Bofiliou, Sarah P. and Sma Rag Da. PRINTS has also been released on a limited edition turquoise 12″ vinyl, available on Tareq’s Bandcamp.
