RuPaul’s Drag Race Holland reveals cast, includes first bearded queen ever

The ladies of Holland have officially started their engines! Entertainment Weekly has given us our first look at the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race Holland, and the cast includes ten of the most daring, unique, fearless, weird and BEARDED queens of Holland!

Bearded?! That’s right, BEARDED! The cast features a 24-year-old queen by the name of Madame Madness, “the Bearded Queen of Amsterdam”. Madame Madness will be the very first bearded queen ever on RuPaul’s Drag Race and, considering how much we love bearded queens here at Bear World Magazine, we’re very excited!

“With the beard, Madness tries to break through the boxes of masculinity and femininity. She wants to spread the message that being different is allowed. Madame Madness has a strict appearance, but is actually very sweet, wise, and open-minded” said EW.

The rest of the eclectic cast includes: Miss Abby OMG, Roem, ChelseaBoy, Janey Jacké, Ma’MaQueen, Envy Peru, Sederginne, Patty Pam-Pam, and Megan Schoonbrood

All ten queens featured in this inaugural Dutch spin-off of the Emmy-winning franchise will compete for the crown under head judge, celebrity stylist, and former Holland’s Next Top Model mentor Fred van Leer.

Drag Race Holland marks the series’ launch into its fifth international territory, which also has iterations in Thailand, the United Kingdom, South America, and Canada, with another installment currently in development for Australia. Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey, co-founders of World of Wonder, the production company behind RuPaul’s Drag Race,  previously told EW “three or four” more worldwide markets were in the running to receive their own versions of the show.
