Paul Andrews takes us ‘Into Existence” with new single!
Singer/songwriter/producer Paul Andrews has released his new single “Into Existence” today via Osonorus Music!
The full version of the song will be included on Andrews’ forthcoming sophomore album From The Distance, scheduled for release in January.
The driving soundscape of synths and strings sets the backdrop for the uncommon themes found in “Into Existence”: the contemplation of the creation of sound and how songwriters convey their thoughts and feelings into this intangible medium, and the concept of infinite creative possibilities which then collapses into one song for the writer.
“The concept of creativity has always intrigued me,” says Andrews. “As I was writing this song about pulling ideas from an infinite pool of possibilities, I imagined tapping into the same source of creativity that past great musicians drew from. It lead me down a rabbit hole, thinking how maybe these greats had written something that was never shared. Then I started thinking about the abstract concept of turning thought into intangible sound, and how we carry these sounds as songs with us, far beyond the last note has been heard.”
Andrews continues on his solo path with his second album, From The Distance, pulling inspiration from his remixing past (Andrews has crafted remixes for Madonna, Dolly Parton, Robyn, Basia, Wang Chung, Phil Ramone, etc.). The new album was mixed both in Dolby Atmos and in stereo by Andy Bradfield (Everything But the Girl, Rufus Wainwright, David Gray, Pet Shop Boys, Beth Orton, Josh Groban, etc.)
“Into Existence” is out today, November 11, on Apple Music, Spotify and all other digital platforms!
