Ottawa Bears and Ottawa Bear 2020 to host Bear Refuge, a fundraiser!

The Ottawa Bears and Mr. Ottawa Bear 2020 will be hosting a virtual fundraiser for Northern Lights Refuge to help LGBTQ+ refugees. 

This is the first fundraising activity for Dori, Mr. Ottawa Bear 2020, as COVID-19 has shut down all in-person fund raising. The first 40 people to purchase an event ticket will be entered into a draw for one of two $25 gift certificates to MistRbear Montréal.

The date of the event is December 5, 2020 at 7:00 p.m., with a pre-show at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature a pre-show dance party with DJ Sonny D, live performances by singers/musicians Jeff Workman and Homer Marrs, and a Bear-themed fashion show by MistRbear Montréal. 

The event will also include Bear bingo games, with $150 and $100 prizes, hosted by Joel and Jason of The Ottawa Bears, and multiple prizes, including door prizes, gift certificates and a Visa Gift Card. The grand finale will be the premiere showing of the entire Mr. Ottawa Bear 2020 competition video.
