The UK queens are here, and the tea will undoubtedly be served hot this season!

The hugely successful RuPaul’s Drag Race UK returns today, and this season seems to already be bringing more queens and more drama than last season. You would have thought that COVID would have slowed Drag Race down, but the queens are still racing!

In fact, 2020 saw the more Drag Race than ever before with more iterations popping up than ever before, including RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 12), RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars, RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Vegas Revue, Canada’s Drag Race, and Drag Race Holland. It’s no doubt that some may be all Drag Race’d out, but for many the race is just getting started!

So, how do you watch Drag Race UK if you don’t live in the UK? Buckle your seats, my fellow Ameicans and Canadians! Here’s everything you need to know from this side of the pond.

Also, Canadian viewers won’t be able to watch Drag Race UK until 8 hours after it debuts in the US and UK, so be aware to avoid spoilers on social media! You know how people can be. ARRRGH!

Who is competing in RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2?

The Drag Race UK Season 2 cast will include A’Whora, Asttina Mandella, Bimini Bon Boulash, Cherry Valentine, Ellie Diamond, Ginny Lemon, Joe Black, Lawrence Chaney, Sister Sister, Tayce, Tia Kofi, and Veronica Green.

Who will be judging RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2?

Returning as the main judge and host, of course, is Mother Ru herself. Alongside her will be her ace, Michelle Visage, and returning UK judges Alan Carr and Graham Norton. This season’s celebrity guest judges include MNEK, Elizabeth Hurley, Jessie Ware, Sheridan Smith, Lorraine Kelly, Jourdan Dunn, Maya Jama, and The Vicar of Dibley’s Dawn French. Jessie Ware has confirmed that she filmed on Christmas Eve while Elizabeth Hurley said she had completed the first episode.

How did the COVID-19 pandemic impact RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 2?

The show reportedly had to stop production on the season as a result of lockdown, then came back months later to finish filming. They returned to plexiglass dividers on the judging panel and tighter COVID restrictions.

Also, according to some of the judges, many of the queens used the months off to enhance their skills, and came back from the break noticeably better than before. Apparently, there will be a special episode about the months off.

We can’t wait to see what else is in store for this season!
