Daddy Hopper is back in ‘Stranger Things 4’ this summer!

Bears, get ready! Daddy Hopper is back in Stranger Things 4!

It has been announced that the fourth (and final) season of the Netflix hit Stranger Things will finally premiere in two parts this spring/summer. And YES, Daddy Hopper is in the trailer, so it seems like he’s alive after all!

Ever since the premiere of Stranger Things, the Bears have been absolutely head-over-heels- giddy for Jim Hopper, played by the Beary hot David Harbour. The show has been a hit with the Bears, not just because David Harbour is a hunk, but because of all the horror, sci-fi and 1980s nostalgia it provides. But mainly because David Harbour is hot.

Anyways, we left the third season believing that Hopper had sacrificed himself so Joyce (Winona Ryder) could close the gate to the Upside Down. But then, just before the final episode ends, we are transported to some snowy town in Russia, where someone who appears to be Hopper is located. We’re happy he’s alive, but this isn’t a happy ending. In a letter, it is explained that “he is imprisoned far from home in the snowy wasteland of Kamchatka, where he will face dangers both human… and other.”

In addition to this, there will also be a “big reveal” about Hopper’s history. David Harbour made an appearance at Comic Con in Liverpool in March 2020 and stated that fans should expect to learn something huge about Hopper’s past in Season 4.

Well, we are definitely on the edge of our seat waiting for the two part finale.  A new trailer for Season 4 was released on April 12th, and from the look of it we will be going back to Hawkins Lab, where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) was raised. Volume 1 of Season 4  will be released on Netflix on Friday, May 27th, followed by Volume 2 on Friday, July 1.

Meanwhile, Stranger Things Seasons 1-3 are now streaming on Netflix.
