Celebrate Christmas and New Year’s with Ty’s!
One of NYC’s most popular Bear watering holes, Ty’s Bar, has announced their annual Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations!
On Christmas Day, Ty’s will host “We Wish You A Healthy Christmas: Julian’s Annual Christmas Gathering” from 7:00 p.m. until closing. Then, on Friday, December 31, Ty’s will close out 2021 and bring in its 50th year with its annual New Year’s Eve Celebration. Both events will require proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
2022 is a special year for Ty’s, as the popular Christopher Street “man’s bar” will be celebrating its 50th birthday. Ty’s was one of the first gay bars to open on Christopher Street after the Stonewall uprising, so it holds a special iconic place in the LGBTQ history of New York City. And as one of the most popular gay bars in the city catering to the Bear and Leather communities, Ty’s will always makes our list of Best Bear Bars in the world.
