Growlr to Launch Beary Famous with John Hernandez & Quin Lamar

GROWLR Live is launching a monthly, one-hour, streaming program that will give users a healthy dose of bear news & pop culture while simultaneously showcasing guests from the global bear community. The show is called Beary Famous and it premieres this Tuesday, May 7th at 8pm Eastern. 

Guests will include musicians, artists, activists, performers and influencers. Topics will vary from upcoming bear events to dishing the dirt on the latest RuPaul episode to offering cooking tips and maybe even dating advice.

“The monthly guests will really dictate the general topic and tone of each show, but we’ll always strive for some good laughs!” said Growlr’s Phil Henricks, who will host Beary Famous. “Because this is live stream our members will also play a key role”, he continued, “they will ask questions, make comments and really help drive the conversation – that’s the beauty of live streaming.”

As such, the show will provide a one-of-a-kind platform to reach and engage with the bear community. 

The first episode will feature comedian, Instagram sensation and former Bear World Magazine cover bear Quin Lamar as well as our very own editor in chief John Hernandez. “I’m really looking forward to chatting with Quinn about his current stand-up tour and getting all the bear gossip from John”, Henricks beamed, “it should be a very fun premiere.”
