Oslo Pride has unveiled the three finalists in this year’s Oslo Pride song competition, and among them is a song by the beary talented Big Daddy Karsten and his friend and fellow artist, Ferdinand, entitled “Canceled”!

Big Daddy Karsten and Ferdinand just recently performed their other song “Best Friend (Remix)” in our very first Digital Bear Weekend, so we are super pumped that they have made it to the finals of this competition!

Voting is open to everyone, so have a listen, leave a comment, and cast your vote! Click here to vote: OSLO PRIDELÅT 2020

The winner will be announced along with the Oslo Pride lineup on Monday, June 1, 2020. The poll closes on Saturday, May 30 at midnight (GMT+2).

This song is just as much a middle finger to those who rejoice that there will be no physical pride this year as it is a humorous and danceable celebration in itself. This is a song that you should be able to dance to with your best friend on Facetime, or have it playing through your headset while channeling your inner Kim Friele, Marsha P. Johnson, Reidar Engesbakk or Jan Thomas. It also hopefully gives you a validation that you are good enough just as you are.
