Quin Lamar isn’t just another comic he’s a voice for the moment. Beginning his career as a social worker, Quin later honed his comedic skills at New York’s legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB). The improv powerhouse has launched the careers of comedy royalty like Amy Poehler, Donald Glover, and Kate McKinnon, and Quin brings that same boundary-pushing edge to every performance.
What sets Quin apart is his fearless approach to truth-telling, especially when it comes to the intersections of being Black and gay. His comedy doesn’t shy away from the complexities of identity, instead, it embraces them, turning lived experience into laugh-out-loud insight.
