Happy Birthday CAKE!
After a brutally cold, blizzard-filled start to 2026 (and yes, “blizzardy” might just be the right word), CAKE thawed things out in style, returning with a new home, a new sponsor, and a packed first birthday bash.
At the end of last year, CAKE found itself on the hunt for a new venue. The party has now landed at the lively NOWHERE Bar in Manhattan, a welcoming spot already known for hosting bear community favorites like Thick Thursday Happy Hour with guest bartender Darren, founder of Fat Fvc, along with Big Boy Lounge and Fat Fvc events. With its warm vibe and built-in crowd, the move feels like a natural next chapter for CAKE.
The birthday edition brought everything the crowd has come to expect and then some. GoGo dancers Jay and Joey kept the energy high while DJ NOBL3 B3AR delivered the beats, turning the afternoon into a dance-filled celebration that carried the party straight into evening.
Helping make the celebration even bigger was sponsor BiggerCity, who brought the birthday spirit with branded giveaways, including caps, bags, and other goodies for partygoers. The result? A fully decked-out celebration that felt worthy of CAKE’s first year milestone.
Now officially entering year two, CAKE has settled into its new rhythm. The party will take place every last Sunday of the month from 3–8 PM at Nowhere Bar in NYC.
If the birthday bash was any indication, the next slice of CAKE, coming at the end of March, should be just as sweet.
