International Bear Convergence in Palm Springs is an annual bear event that’s become a staple in our community. Bears, muscle bears, cubs, chasers, chubs, admirers and their fans get together every winter to enjoy the sunny weather of California with pool parties, live entertainment, and more.
Hosted at the iconic Hotel ZOSO Palm Springs, IBC makes for quite an unforgettable extended weekend bear run.
It has quickly become a community favorite in the bear community, and let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to spend an extended weekend in warm weather surrounded by frisky members of the bear commonwealth?!
With the next IBC Palm Springs event happening in 2027 from February 18th through February 22nd, it’s definitely worth planning now to get your passes and hotel reservations. Find information below for next year’s event!

IBC offers two options for attending the event, such as the VIB (Very Important Bear) Pass, and the Weekend Pass. There is also a packaged option that includes your selected pass and the registration fees. VIB (Very Important Bear) Pass
The VIB Pass includes entry to ALL weekend events, early entry to the pool area, pool parties with VIB bars, a VIB area at the pool parties, designated cocktail servers, the Saturday VIB Drinks & Nibbles Mixer, Happy Hour drink & food specials, and the Sunday night hospitality bar.
It also includes an exclusive bag of goodies that includes your choice of a 2027 IBC t-shirt, tank top, or IBC hat, a 2027 IBC backpack, and a 2027 IBC commemorative gift. This pass is perfect for those looking to stay for the full four day event.
The Weekend Pass
The weekend pass includes entry to all weekend events, a 2027 IBC t-shirt with an IBC swag bag, and access to the Sunday night hospitality bar. This pass is perfect for those looking to visit for just the weekend instead of the full four day event.
