German Bear Pride celebrates 35 years, features online voting for Mr. Bear Germany contest

From November 20 to 25, German Bear Pride in Cologne will celebrate 35 years of activity in the Cologne Bear Community.

Since 1984, the bearded men from Cologne – in connection with other bear groups in Germany and Europe – have spread awareness for the interests of the bear community.

In times of dating sites and social media, things have not gotten easier, but bringing people together in physical spaces is still very important. For this reason, the bear community in Germany continues to show their colors, be present, and engage with and for the community.

On Friday, November 22, the election of Mr. Bear Germany 2020 takes place in Essigfabrik, Cologne. Online voting for the 6 candidates has already begun. The election of Mr. Bear Germany 2020 will take place as part of Friday’s Bears and Beard party.

On Saturday evening, guests are invited to the PIPE party, which will take place in Cologne’s top club BOGEN 2.
