‘Drag Race’ alum Ginger Minj snags six-figure book deal!
The RuPaul Drag Race fan favorite is set to pen a share-all memoir, Southern Fried Sass.
We’re about to be hearing a lot more from Ginger Minj, the self-described international Super Spy of Drag!
Michelle Herrera Mulligan at Atria Books has acquired, at a six-figure+ auction, North American English rights to Southern Fried Sass by star of Ru Paul’s Drag Race and Wigs in a Blanket Ginger Minj. This food-inspired memoir is for fans of Reese Witherspoon’s Whiskey in a Teacup and Trixie Mattel & Katya’s Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood.
It is part over-the-top entertainment, part break-your-heart realness, part prescriptive guide to staying true to yourself even when it feels like no one “gets” you, according to the press release announcement.
The book will be accompanied by Southern recipes from Ginger’s grandmother and provides not only comfort and reassurance that people can reinvent themselves, but also assures tough times can get outrageously good.
