Come Party with the Urtzos at Sardinia Bear Weekend!
Sardegna Bear Weekend, organized by Urtzos (Sardinian Bears) and Sardinia Friendly is the biggest and most important event in Sardinia dedicated to the Bear Community since its inception in 2020. It’s four days of fur-tastic events that are sure to attract hundreds of Bears, Admirers and Friends from all over Italy and Europe taking place from July 25th through the 28th.

At Sardegna Bear Weekend you will be able to get to know the most fascinating and hidden corners of Cagliari, the capital of the island, and have the opportunity to learn about Sardinian culture. Attendees are invited to enjoy fascinating interviews with a variety of authors whose books will be featured at the fabulous Rainbook Festival. Culture and discovery are an important part of our Bear Weekend.
SOCIAL EVENTS, GATHERINGS AND APERITIFS
Many social events await you at the Sardegna Bear Weekend.
Aperitifs await in the friendliest locations in the city, where you can drink excellent cocktails, meet all the gorgeous Bears in town and make lots of new friends. There will also be a gathering in the only authorized area for public nudity in Southern Sardinia: Feraxi, located in the municipality of Muravera (about 50km from Cagliari). WOOF!
DRAG SHOWS AND PARTY NIGHTS
Some of the most talented Drag Queens on the island and from throughout Italy will entertain you with fantastically raucous shows full of laughter. After the show everyone will let loose on the dancefloor with music selected by some of the best-known Italian and international Bear DJs, for a party that will last until you see the sunrise on the Poetto Beach in Cagliari.
MISTER BEAR SARDEGNA®
The election of Mister Bear Sardegna® is the event that closes the Sardegna Bear Weekend.
Since 2019, this competition has celebrated what the Sardinian Bears call Unconventional Bearty (Bear + Beauty). It’s a celebration of feeling good about your body, accepting its defects and enhancing them to make them your strengths, without forgetting taking care of yourself, in the spirit of body positivy that the Urtzos has promoted since their creation.
