Bearly Athens 2023 was a massive success and we have the pics to prove it!
Held from July 27th through August 1st, the second annual Bearly Athens event, hosted by Nik L. and the Athens Bears, attracted nearly 300 gorgeous bears from 25 countries! Of the countries represented, attendees were primarily from Greece, the United States and England.
Organizers had plenty of activities planned for their guests in the beautiful and enchanting Greek capital city. It was described to us as “a non-stop roller coaster ride with short breaks in between to catch our breath”. Some of the highlight events included:
- The world class Drag CaBEARet on Friday afternoon at the GazArte Athens Cultural Hub
- The Underwear Dance Party and Sex Labyrinth at the adult entertainment venue 8 DownTown Athens Friday night
- The Bearly Booze Cruise on Saturday.
- The Pool Extravaganza on Sunday which was held on a private estate.
- The first ever Mr Bearly Athens competition with almost 20 competitors!
When we asked organizer Nik L to describe Bearly Athens and what makes it unique he said:
“This bear event is nothing like any other bear run you have experienced before. The most important aspect of it is community-building. I have included the best elements of all the bear events I have ever attended around the world and put together a week of day and evening activities that cater to pretty much everyone. Meeting people and remembering their names, swimming with them in the Aegean Sea, getting intimate and sexy with them in the sexy labyrinths and dancing with them to “Zorba the Greek” during Greek night – these are memories that we will cherish for a lifetime and what sets Bearly Athens apart from other events.”
