Birmingham to host GearBlast UK, now in its 10th year

On August 23 – 26, GearBlast will host GearBlast UK in Birmingham at the Facility Studios in Walsall. The event will run through the entire weekend, from Friday evening through Monday afternoon.

GearBlast UK, now in its 10th year, is a growing family of international gearheads, fetish enthusiasts and self-proclaimed “pervs”. The group consists of three sectors – GearBlast US, GearBlast UK, and GearBlast EU. Each sector holds their own events throughout the year.

This year GearBlast UK has almost an entire weekend of events planned, with various evening parties and open playrooms for all-night safe, sane and consensual fun. Some of the scheduled events this year include GearWalk – which will go through Birmingham City Centre, followed by GearKarting – which will occur at Grand Prix Karting, less than 2 miles from Birmingham City Centre.

In addition to GearWalk and GearKarting, GearBlast UK will also host Ride-Out – a biker event scheduled for an early Sunday morning departure in which participants will be lead to a biker friendly pub in the Peak District. Throughout the weekend, attendees will also be able to enjoy some great new event features, including workshops and a new heated outdoor area.

GearBlast UK operates a strict dress code on Saturday and Sunday evening – rubber, lycra, leather, PVC, uniforms, sports gear, costumes/cosplay, fursuits, mx, cycling, etc., or any unique mix of styles and ideas that covers the body completely.

The venue is located very close to the centre of Walsall, within easy walking-distance of the Travelodge and Premier Inn, and other excellent transport links to the rest of the UK, Europe and International locations.
