BeefDip launches Airfunding campaign to aid Puerto Vallarta local organizations

Out of concern for the safety of the people of Puerto Vallarta and their guests and staff during these hard times, the producers of BeefDip Bear WeekⓇ have had to make the very difficult but responsible decision to cancel BeefDip Bear Week 2021 .

BeefDip has had a tremendous economic contribution in Puerto Vallarta over the past 17 years bringing in millions of dollars for local businesses over the week long event. Every year, a fundraising day is held at one of the pool parties at Mantamar (Almar Resort’s Beach Club), at which Alphonse Swimwear provides swimsuits for us to auction at the event. 

The proceeds from the event go to the local charities SETAC (an organization dedicated to HIV prevention, testing, support and treatment) and R.I.S.E. Orphanage. Over the years, they have managed to raise over $100,000 CAD for the local charities.

Since they won’t be able to throw our annual fundraiser party in 2021, they will be doing an airfunding campaign which will end in January on the dates when the event would have taken place (Sun, 24 Jan 2021 – Sun, 31 Jan 2021). This virtual fundraiser will benefit SETAC, and the Puerto Vallarta Food Bank, a new organization was set up to gather food, groceries and essential items for the local people from Puerto Vallarta who rely heavily on tourism and have lost their jobs due to the COVID pandemic.

Please help the community of Puerto Vallarta! Every year they receive all the bears with open arms, and now is a very important time to give something back to this beautiful city.

BeefDip Bear WeekⓇ has been rescheduled for January 30 – February 6, 2022.
