BEARS ON ICE 2019 – tickets now on sale

BEARS ON ICE is a four day men only event for bears and their gay, bi and trans friends from all around the world. It returns for 2019 from August 29th till September 1st.

Held in Iceland’s capital Reykjavik, the world’s most northerly capital city, BEARS ON ICE is a bear run with some unique differences.

The bears in Iceland like to party but you’ll also get the opportunity to see a little bit of Iceland and it’s fascinating nature such as steaming hot geysers and Iceland’s most beautiful waterfall, the Golden waterfall.

Passes

Passes are now on sale priced at $399 for the full pass and $120 for the party pass.

There is only a limited number of Full Event Passes that are valid for all the events and tours plus the BEARS ON ICE T-shirt. The Full Pass has sold out in recent years so make sure to get your pass now.

The Party Passes are valid for all the parties and include the annual BEARS ON ICE T-shirt.

You can also come along the individual parties but only the passes will give you VIP access at the entrance. Tickets for individual events will likely not be made available online until August 2019.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 29 2019

8pm – Welcome party and registration

BEARS ON ICE 2019 kicks of with Registration and Welcome Party Thursday August 29th at Gamla Bíó, Top Floor (Petersen Suite), Ingólfsstræti 2a. (City Center). Pick up your BOI pass & T-Shirt and goodie bag, mingle and make friends.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 30 2019

10am – The Golden Circle tour

This is a full day tour starting 10 am in the morning and we’re back to Reykjavik around 5.30. Sights include the national shrine of Iceland, Geysir geothermal area, the Golden Waterfall and a three course lunch buffet at Hotel Geysir.

10pm – Top Off Party

SATURDAY, AUGUST 31 2019

Afternoon – Geothermal Blue Lagoon Tour

Two tours depart Lækjargata and travel to the Blue Lagoon where you can spend an hour in the geothermal lagoon and enjoy a cocktail and photoshoot! Plus, enjoy a beer and a sandwich at the Blue lagoon Visitor’s lounge afterwards.

10pm – BEARS ON ICE Main Party

Featuring music by DJ Dramatik & DJ Ginger-Bear (CAN). Free transport for holders of Full Event Passes and Party Passes from Lækjargata 10:00pm and 10:30pm and back to town 03:00am and 03:30am

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 2019

11am – Farewell brunch

Farewell brunch at Loctation Jómfrúin, Lækjargata 4 (city center).
