Bears are looking for love on GROWLr this Valentine’s Day with NextDate!
What a perfect time then to be launching NextDate — a new dating feature on GROWLr Live!
GROWLr, every bear’s favourite dating app, is the place to be this Valentine’s Day as findings from a recent survey show that two thirds of the bears on the app are looking for a date on Valentine’s Day and a staggering 80% of the respondents will be using GROWLr to find that date!
NextDate is a fun to play and super interactive form of speed dating that members control. A streamer will allow others to join them in the stream for a set amount of time (anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes), and the streamer is provided with a bunch of ice-breaker questions so they can get to know each other better. Some of the questions are hysterical and even if you don’t want to pay NextDate, it’s incredibly entertaining to watch!
One of the most popular ways to play NextDate is in BlindDate mode –- that means the streamer does not immediately see who he is talking to, the guest’s image is pixelated at first and then as they chat his image is slowly revealed.
Bears have been really loving NextDate and we can’t wait to see successful dates come out of it! Love most definitely is in the air on GROWLr as a fifth of respondents to the survey who stated that they are in a relationship, found their special someone through GROWLr!
