Bear Carnival Shares Exclusive Photos and Details on their 2025 Event

The paradise island of Gran Canaria (Spain) has just witnessed another explosion of joy, laughter, and furry festivities with Bear Carnival 2024 and we’ve been given exclusive early access to a selection of their pictures before they hit social media.

From candid moments of laughter to sizzling dance floor antics, each image is a testament to the spirit of camaraderie found in every facet of this bear week celebration. The photographs captured feature a variety of settings, ages, races and body types and we LOVE to see it.

The amount of variety and diversity depicted here is no accident either. Bear Carnival has been featuring Europe’s biggest programme of events at a bear event since its first edition back in 2015 (which is why they’ve been nominated for Best Bear Event at the Bear World Magazine Awards – Vote Here!) However, this year they outdid themselves and doubled their efforts with an overwhelming schedule of seventy-two bear events in two weeks (let that sink for a moment), including pre-carnival and post-carnival events.

Squaring the circle of bear weeks

The ambition behind such an endeavour is as simple as it is innovative: to throw a massive bear week at Europe’s largest beach resort while offering the customized and community-building experience of smaller bear events at the same time. So instead of concentrating thousands of bears on a single focal point every night, Bear Carnival offers visitors some big events at large locations, but also a myriad of smaller, signature events that you can mix and match thanks to an efficient online helpdesk and ticketing system at reasonable prices. The result is a custom holiday for every bear, who is always surrounded by likeminded men in a friendly, chatty and never-overcrowded environment.

More specifically, the programme and tickets were divided into what they call “experiences”, covering the whole day and night: trips, beach, drinks, sex, pools, dance, food, boats, relax and, of course, themed parties according to this year’s motif, “sportsmen”. Because yes, Bear Carnival updates the carnival theme and the whole event programme every single year in a massive production effort previously unseen in the bear week circuit.

Some highlights of 2024 have been the new “Sunset Boat Trip” (the fourth cruise on the programme), a new non-stop 13 hour-long party at the tropical gardens of AxelBeach Maspalomas, new niche sex parties, a new clubbing night in association with DILF UK, new social games such as mini-golf tournaments and sport demonstrations on the gay beach, new island tours, new active sports experiences, and of course their unique tantric sex workshops for bears we already informed you about a few weeks ago.

Dates for 2025

Are you ready to experience this magic for yourself? Well, get ready because Bear Carnival 2025 will take place from April 3-13 (just before Easter) and yes, hotels are already reporting high occupation rates more than a year in advance, so try to book as soon as possible. Attendance numbers are anticipated to break previous records because 2025 is the 10th anniversary edition, the “Carnival of Carnivals” as they’ve called it, celebrating all previous themes and rescuing the best ideas from past years. Sounds amazing, right?

The organisers (mostly volunteers) have also promised to address the main problem of this year’s success: the number of sold-out tickets, especially for their beloved pool parties, spa evenings and boat trips. They have promised daily pool parties and an armada of bear boats for 2025 if needed!
