8 Actors who could play ‘THICC Thor’ in a ‘God of War’ film

The video game God of War: Ragnarok released a new trailer earlier this month which had so many up in arms about “THICC Thor.”

So many people think the new Thor is “too fat” to be strong, even though he definitely still had muscles. The appearance of his large belly is what seems to confuse most people — despite the fact that most “World’s Strongest Man” competitors look the same way. As Gayming Mag’s Aimee Hard perfectly put it, Your problem with God of War’s Thor is because of fatphobia

However, there’s been a lot of talk about who could play the new Thor in a film, and so many large and in charge actors came to mind. Some of them may be comedians, but we’ve seen comedic actors successfully transition into more serious roles before. So, whether they are super chunky, or just a little pleasantly plump (gaining a few more pounds for a role isn’t so bad if you’re already THICC), here are our eight picks for the role!
