2022 Toyota Tundra: Wow, this is One Hugh Jass Truck!

I think most of us dream of having ‘em big. Well, sir, if you do, this Tundra is the big one!

This man of size is19 to 20 feet long, 6 and a half feet wide and as tall as it is wide. And he can tow four to six tons depending on what variation of him you bring home. For starters.

(Just so you know, there are many, many, many ways that you can build and mix and match your Toyota (Tonka) Tundra.)

The 2022 Toyota Tundra, available as a Double Cab (extended cab, or second row for passengers) or a CrewMax (more headroom and legroom for backseat passengers) is completely designed, engineered and assembled in the United States.

Per the press materials, it has a “new high-strength boxed, steel-ladder frame, aluminum-reinforced composite bed and fully redesigned multi-link rear suspension” and other important changes, making it an even tougher Tundra than previous models.

Indeed, this truck is not for the faint of heart.  Let’s just say, it’s big, it’s beautiful, and you’re gonna love it, as Miss Coco Peru said in the 1999 very gay movie Trick. (Well, I think she said it – if not, she should have said it.)

There is lotsa room inside; not need to worry about sucking in it or holding back on the Grande Meals with extra carne.

My favorite part here is that the technology could not be more simple.  There is a Hugh Jass dial for volume.  I loved it.  Dainty fingers are fine (if you have them) for pushing those micro buttons for all those newfangled controls, but with this truck – a man’s truck BTW – everything is right there, to include a Hugh Jass 14-inch touchscreen.

That makes it so much easier to see, or deny, where you are heading in life.

With a big boy like this, you will also need some help to park it.  Alas, you will get overhead cameras which, honestly, tell you exactly what you are doing and how you are doing it.  I would have truly been in the crosshairs of some very angry neighbors without this help … from above (cue heavenly music).

Entry price for a truck like this is reasonable as well: $35,950 US for Double Cab and $38K for CrewMax. Again, the add-ons are what will make your truck, like your marriage, the dream life you have always wanted.

Something else to think about: much like having a child, who will need a place to sleep, make sure you have a place to shelter your Tundra.

Just a little something to think about.
