11th Annual Philadelphia Leather Pride Night charity to be held at Voyeur Nightclub

On Saturday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m., Voyeur Nightclub, in the heart of Philadelphia’s Gayborhood, will open its doors to the 11th annual Philadelphia Leather Pride Night. The event will feature a charity auction and fashion show, which will consist of items across the spectrum – everything from Opera tickets, event passes, leather and fetish clothing, adult themed toys, equipment, books, art, jewelry and a few special surprise items. The auction and fashion show will be followed by a Dance party, which will begin at 10:00 p.m.

Before the auction, PLPN will host their traditional Intimate Conversation at 5:00 p.m. This year they are honored to have JoAnn Wadsworth as their featured guest.

Jo Ann Wadsworth – aka Mama Jo Ann – has been in the greater kink community for over 25 years, identifying as a bisexual Top since 1994. In June 1996, she became the first female Full Member of the Philadelphians M.C. – a gay men’s leather club in Philadelphia. She is Ms Philadelphia Leather 2000, and is currently the Captain (President) of the Philadelphians. She is also an Associate Member of many other leather clubs. She was a Diabolique Board Member from 2000 to 2007, and has volunteered at Santa Saturday since 2005. In addition to continual education and self-discovery, she believes that integrity and respect for others, no matter how they identify, is of prime importance.

As part of the night’s events, PLPN will also host a Cigar Social, which will begin at 5:00 p.m. Bootblacking will be available all night on the main floor, featuring local and regional talent. And as an added bonus, free pizza will be served.

The event will be hosted by PLPN’s “million dollar auctioneer”, Jo Arnone. For the past 11 years, Jo and PLPN have been able to raise and donate over $95,000 for their charities. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event will benefit PLPN’s charity partners. This year’s charity Partners include Project Home – Gloria Casarez Residence, The William Way LGBT Community Center, and By the Grace of George.
