Win a free gay wedding in the Big Apple

“Love Above All Weddings” at Rockefeller Center is offering five lucky couples the chance to get married in a private rooftop ceremony.

In celebration of Pride, and kicking off New York City’s post-pandemic summer of love, Rockefeller Center, one of the most romantic places in the City, has opened submissions for couples to have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to receive a complimentary wedding at the Center.

“Love Above All Weddings”  will offer five couples each a  ceremony  with up to ten guests  at 620 Loft & Garden, Rockefeller Center’s picturesque private rooftop garden overlooking St. Patrick’s Cathedral and 5th Avenue. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their guests will be treated to a  champagne toast and wedding cake at  the iconic  Rainbow Room  where they will enjoy a special performance by a star of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”   Finally, to help commemorate the special day, each couple will enjoy their very own wedding  photoshoot at Top of the Rock Observation Deck, which features unparalleled and unobstructed 360-degree views of New York City’s skyline.

“Rockefeller Center is a place that has always celebrated equality and love, and we are overjoyed to participate in this year’s Pride festivities and have the opportunity to help New Yorkers create their most incredible experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives,” said  EB Kelly, Tishman Speyer Managing Director overseeing Rockefeller Center. “We can feel the love already, and we invite all New Yorkers whose weddings may have had to be reimagined because of the pandemic, or those who are simply ready now, to share their stories, their support for the LGBTQ+ community, and celebrate their special occasion at Rockefeller Center this Pride.”

Couples are invited to submit an application for this dream wedding at  rockefellercenter.com/love-above-all-weddings  where they will be asked to share their love story and how they support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Submissions are open through June 1st, and the winning couples will be announced on June 4th

The Ali Forney Center, the largest organization founded to support LGBTQ+ homeless youth, will select the couples who will receive the Love Above All Wedding experiences. Presented with support from New York Magazine, the weddings will be officiated and planned by Ultimate USA Weddings, the exclusive wedding planners for Top of the Rock.
