Trixie Mattel announces her upcoming Discovery+ show ‘Trixie Motel’

There’s not much you can say Trixie Mattel hasn’t done in recent years. Since competing for the crown on RuPaul’s Drag Race, she has launched a pretty successful music career, gagged us with a sickening makeup line, released a documentary and even became owner of a gay bar. The woman does it all!
Now, one of the most hardworking women in drag business is gonna be doing motel makeovers. Yes, we were a little confused when we first read it too, but it was confirmed in a Twitter post by Trixie herself!
“BREAKING: Palm Springs is getting a facelift in my new Discovery+ renovation series, Trixie Motel,” she tweeted on Thursday. “Coming next year, the show will follow me and my famous friends as we create the glossiest drag motel of your wildest fever-dreams!”
And, just in case you’re thinking it could be a joke, she later Tweeted, “This is not a joke.”
According to information found online by Out Magazine, the series is expected to launch towards the beginning of the year in Winter 2022. In addition to this series, she also has her ongoing sistership with Katya Zamolodchikova, which includes their hit web series UNHhhh, their book Trixie and Katya’s Guide to Modern Womanhood, and their podcast,The Bald and the Beautiful.
Trixie is a busy woman, and she is here to slay!
