The first National Bearded Empress to be crowned next month!
It’s no secret that we at Bear World appreciate our bearded queens! That’s why we’re excited about the National Bearded Empress Pageant!
After two years of delays to ensure the safety of guests, contestants and the empire, the National Beaded Empress Pageantry System is excited to have you join them to celebrate a change long overdue in the art of drag and to honor their emeriti, Dion Dior Black, Bearonce Bear, and Joey Gallagher.
Yes, all forms of Drag are valid, including the art of Bearded Drag! That’s why you shouldn’t miss the crowning of the very first Bearded Empress at the National Bearded Empress Pageant! The event will include two nights of pageantry on April 3rd and 4th at the Parliament House in Orlando, Florida, hosted by Chi Chi Larue!
Contestants at this year’s pageant include: Adriana Sparkle of St. Petersburg, Florida; AJ Allen Montrese of Louisville, Kentucky; Alexis Atauri of Lakewood, Ohio; Inertia the Movement from Fayetteville, Arkansas; Kay Kay Lavelle of Greensboro, North Carolina; and Vagenesis of Washington, DC.
Entertainment will include notable drag and performance artists, including 2022 Mr. Universo Latino USA Jose Perez; The Legendary Faith Taylor; 2021 Miss Glamorous Newcomer Khloe Damore; 2022 King of Hearts Kirk T. DaVinci; Persona Bot; Pop Princess Cara Cavalli Andrews; Apollo Infiniti; and Prince Vulcan.
The first National Bearded Empress Pageant will happen on April 3rd and 4th at the Parliament House, 25 S. Orange Avenue, Orlando, Florida 32801. Tickets are on sale NOW!
