Get All the Details on the 2024 Stuttgart Bear Meeting
The Stuttgart Bears are busily preparing for their 17th annual Bear Meeting taking place from May 8th through 12th. The team has put together an astounding total of 14 events spread over five days. The theme of this year’s program is LÄ LÄ LÄND and will include hiking excursions, sauna trips, bar meetups and of course dance parties where all the bears can get hot and sweaty with each other.
The following is a rundown of this year’s schedule of events:
WEDNESDAY May 8
BUMP BEARS

The early birds among you can try to catch the…ahem.. ‘worm’ on Wednesday evening! And where better place to to do that than at the Suttgart Eagle? Get the weekend started right! WOOF!
THURSDAY May 9
WANDERING BEARS
11:00 AM MEETING POINT: “RUHBANK (TV TOWER)” TRAM STOP
This year’s hiking excursion will take you from the southern hill of Stuttgart down towards Bad Cannstatt with a beautiful view of the Neckar Valley. Other destinations on the approximately three-and-a-half-hour hike are Villa Berg and Rosenstein Castle.
VESPER BEARS
3:00 PM AUGUSTINER BEER GARDEN, KÖNIGSPLATZ 1, 70372 STUTTGART
This year, after the hike, we will stop at the “Augustiner Beer Garden” at the spa park in Bad Cannstatt.
ROCKING BEARS

FRIDAY May 10
RACCOONS

After Budapest, Stuttgart has the second highest mineral water supply in Europe. The Leuze mineral baths (“Das Leuze”) is one of the three large thermal baths in Stuttgart.

The traditional pub evening for the Stuttgart Bear Meeting will once again take place in the legendary Café Weiß with its kitschy 1950s/60s ambience.

*Already sold out! This year will of course feature another architecture tour by Explainer Bear Dirk. This time you will be taking a tour around the Karlshöhe & through the streets of western Stuttgart.

Gossiping starts at 3 p.m. in Café Stöckle in the west of Stuttgart.
DANCING BEARS

Bear disco party for the 17th Stuttgart Bear Meeting, is once again taking place outside the city limits of Stuttgart and will be featuring the talents of Mr. Bear Germany DJ Andy RX and DJ CRIZ!
SUNDAY May 12

On Sunday, after a night of partying, you can feast extensively at the popular Bärenbrunch (Bear Brunch)in the “Brauhaus Schönbuch”.
SMART BEARS

At the end of the 17th Stuttgart Bear Meeting, attendees will meet in reBOOTS for a some good natured bear trivia.
It is important to note that this year’s Bear Meeting coincides with the Stuttgart Spring Festival and as such accommodation might be more expensive and harder to come by.
