Queer Hip-Hop artist EdDie WayNe’s new music video is an ‘Instant Connection’

This week, New York-based queer Hip-Hop artist EdDie WayNe has released the music video for his single “Instant Connection”, and we’re definitely feeling it!

Released last month, the reggae-infused trap track sends a shout out to everyone who had to find their own way to cope with the stress of the pandemic. “Everyone was smoking more than ever because everyone was stuck in the house”, said EdDie WayNe.

Directed by Catalin Stelian, the fun music video shows us what a Saturday morning during lockdown might have looked like with EdDie WayNe and his roomies. “I wanted to make a song about it — something that was a little more upbeat that, when it came back around, you can pass a joint and smile with your friends and eventually laugh about this damn pandemic.”
