Puerto Rico is gearing up for Pride

You are invited to celebrate LGBTQ love and Pride in Puerto Rico!

The Caribbean island and unincorporated territory of the United States is rolling out the rainbow carpet this June with lots of welcoming accommodation options and activities for LGBTQ travelers and revelers to enjoy!

Puerto Rico is a great destination to celebrate the values of Pride, while taking a convenient vacation.

Set to be the host of the IGLTA’s 2023 Annual Global Conference, this inclusive destination warmly welcomes all LGBTQ+ visitors. With many LGBT-owned businesses, celebrations happening throughout the month, and plenty of lodging options, Puerto Rico is the perfect choice for this Pride season.

Here are some of the confirmed opportunities Puerto Rico has to offer LGBTQ+ travelers looking to experience Pride on the Island.

Travelers can:

·       Show their Pride: Pride celebrations on the island are huge and feature a variety of fun events and colorful art to mark the day. Travelers can experience some of the Island’s most festive celebrations like Puerto Rico Pride in Condado or even Boquerón Pride in both summer and winter!

·       Soak up the sun: With a wide variety of LGBT-friendly beaches, such as Condado Beach in San Juan, La Payuela in Cabo Rojo and Playa Flamenco, travelers can swim, surf, and relax as they live out beneath the sunshine

·       Revel in the Nightlife: The queer nightlife in Puerto Rico is like no other. Travelers can get their fill of drag performances at the noteworthy Kweens Klub, hang out with the locals at La Sombrilla Rosa or dance the night away with the DJs at La Respuesta.

·       Tie the rainbow knot: Destination weddings allow for an authentic celebration that is completely customizable. LGBTQ+ couples can plan the wedding of their dreams at venues such as the beautiful La Concha Resort and the notable Santaella restaurant.
