The 2026 edition of Bears Sitges Week, celebrating their 25th anniversary, took place from September 3rd through the 13th. Get the recap below and check out the photos from @bearsmeets below!

It was once again defined by friendship, fun, respect for diversity, and the spirit of inclusion that thousands of visitors from all over the world bring to the event. Thanks to them, they were named one of the Best Bear Events in the World.

Between the dozens of bars in the Bear Alley, the Judgement Square with its terraces ready to judge everyone who passes by, and the many daytime activities included in the official program, this year was packed with thousands upon thousands of bears, chasers, chubs, daddies, muscle bears, and visitors of all kinds from around the world all coming together to celebrate the bear community.

The free Village, located along Sitges’ seafront beside the Mediterranean Sea, welcomed crowds of people every morning while its beaches and the nightly themed parties brought the festival to life throughout the week.

The Market was a great success, showcasing a wide range of products related to bear culture.

There were also parallel cultural activities that were all set against the open, diverse, and festive atmosphere of the quintessential gay resort on Spain’s coast: Sitges. A city with a long-standing LGBTQ+ history, Sitges knows how to welcome and embrace our community like nowhere else.

And the celebration is far from over! The organising team is already working hard to prepare the next editions of Bears Sitges Week: our upcoming April–May edition and, of course, September 2027.

Bears Sitges can’t wait to welcome you all back for more friendship, fun, and unforgettable moments!

The Mister Bears Sitges 2026 is another source of great pride for us this year.

His name is Ernest, a highly respected 57-year-old doctor from Sitges who amazed everyone with his dancing during the competition and with the powerful message he represents: age is never a barrier to having fun or daring to do whatever you truly want to do at every stage of your life.

Without a doubt, he brought the entire Village to its feet, captivating the crowd with an overwhelming wave of enthusiasm, cheers, and admiration during his presentation.
