Ottawa Bears are coming ‘Out of Captivity’ for event in November

Bears, Pups and Leather… Oh My!

This year the Ottawa Bears, Ottawa Knights and Capital Pups are teaming up to bring you Out of Captivity, a full weekend of fun and camaraderie with the goal of raising funds for worthy charities, Northern Lights Refuge and Bruce House. The event will take place from Friday, November 19 through Sunday, November 21.

The weekend will feature several fun and exciting events! Enjoy some some amazing talent at a Variety Showcase; get into some Water Sports at a fun pool party; enjoy an à-la-carte supper at the Ottawa Knights 45th anniversary dinner; dance the night away at a fun glow in the dark dance party featuring DJ Dis Moi Oui spinning modern and retro dance tunes; several fun and informative workshops covering topics such as BDSM and Bondage, Bootblacking, Pup Play and board games; and several brunches to feed your beary big appetite! 

There won’t be any competitions this year in order to give last year’s winners — Dori (Mr Ottawa Bear), Mario (Mr Leather Ottawa), Mike (Bootblack Ottawa) and Bailey (Fetish Pup Ottawa) — another year to raise money for their charities and replace time lost to the pandemic. However, with tons of fun and exciting events, parties and workshops, this promises to be a weekend to remember. Check out the full schedule of events and book your tickets today!

The special VIP package for $90 will allow you access to all events and workshops at considerable savings, and also includes priority seating at the variety show. Also, if you’re from out of town, or you just want to stay near the action all weekend, there is a special rate at Swiss Hotel for all attendees. Bears attending the event will have the entire hotel to themselves for the weekend, but space is limited so make sure you book today!

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your ticket purchase anytime until October 15th and receive a full refund.

COVID Note 

Out of Captivity will be adhering to all public health recommendations during this event, and all participants will be required to show proof of vaccination to attend. If the event must be canceled due to new restrictions, all ticket holders will be fully refunded.
