M&S launches hilariously named ‘Santa’s Yumnut’ doughnut for the holidays

Bears get ready, because Santa is… coming. Marks and Spencer (M&S) has launched a new sweet treat called Santa’s Yumnut, a sweet-salty mouthful that promises to leave you feeling full and jolly this holiday season.

The British retailer proved that someone obviously didn’t catch the innuendo — or did they? They tweeted Thursday: “Who wants a bite of Santa’s Yumnut?”

Oh yeah baby, Santa’s Yumnut! A croissant-doughnut hybrid with “a sweet Santa’s belt topping” – to prove that Santa is the Daddy of all Daddies, so don’t make him take his belt off.

Once the internet got word of this, of course it went absolutely crazy.

Santa’s Yumnut isn’t the first time M&S has found itself at the butt of jokes from the LGBTQ+ community. Last year, it launched an LGBT sandwich for Pride month, filled with lettuce, guacamole, bacon and tomato.

The sandwich helped raise funds for AKT (the Albert Kennedy Trust), a charity dedicated to helping homeless LGBTQ+ youth, however it was savagely roasted. This year, it found itself in hot water when the retailer launched a “Rainbow Sale” during Pride month – but to raise funds for the NHS rather than queer causes.

Maybe they thought people would enjoy Santa’s Yumnut! Honestly, I get a really good kick out of the name. How do you feel about it? Maybe now some of you fuzzy freaks will have a reason to wait up on Christmas night. HO! HO! HO!
