Mr. Eagle NYC 2020 contest to be held first weekend of October

The Mr. Eagle NYC 2020 Contest, which is held annually on the first weekend of October, will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at The Eagle NYC. The Eagle NYC is located at 554 West 28th Street in Chelsea. 

The upcoming Mr. Eagle NYC 2020 contest weekend begins Friday, October 4 with a Meet and Greet at 9:00 p.m. The contest will take place the following evening at 9:00 p.m. Celebrations for the Victory Party will be hosted on the roof deck at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 6. 

Judges for the Eagle NYC 202 contest will include Thom Kam (Mr. Eagle NYC 2019), David Kloss (Intl. Mr.Leather 1979, Toronto, Canada), Jackie Thompson (American Leatherwoman 2018, Adelphi, MD), Chris Booth (Mr. DC Eagle 2019), and Kyle Applegate (Northeast Community Bootblack 2009). 

The contest will happen in three sections, with contestants being rated on Bar/Cruise Wear (75 points), Leather Jock and Question (75 points), Formal/Dress Leathers and Speech (150 points). 

The deadline for applying to the Eagle NYC contest is Saturday, September 21. The winner of the contest will go on to represent Eagle NYC at the International Mr. Leather Competition (IML) in Chicago.
