Meet “The Bears” in St louis, its HiBearNation Time!

An air of anticipation is buzzing through the community as HiBearNation presented by the Show Me Bears, gears up for its 28th annual gathering at The Arch Convention Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri! This year’s event promises a thrilling and unforgettable weekend, jam-packed with activities, parties, and a chance to connect with fellow bears from all over. Whether you’re looking for spooky Halloween fun, a chance to browse the vendor market, or simply want to dance the night away, HBN 28 has something for everyone.

Our Beginnings – The St. Louis Show-Me Bears organization has been a vital part of the community for over thirty years. Originating from the vision of a small group of individuals, it has blossomed into a substantial men’s group dedicated to supporting not-for-profit agencies, especially those focused on HIV and AIDS.

Impact and Fundraising – Throughout its history, the organization has made significant contributions, donating more than one and a half million dollars over the past three decades. One of the cornerstone events is HiBearNation, now in its 28th year, serving as the main fundraising occasion. This year’s HiBearNation will take place at the former Holiday Inn Downtown.

Broadening Our Mission – With advancements in HIV medication, the group has expanded its charitable efforts to include organizations such as the Trans Umbrella Group and various children’s groups. In addition, the organization has taken steps to include women, reflecting its evolving commitment to inclusivity and broader community support. For more information on the Show Me Bears head here.
