La Patte d’Ours/The Bear Paw.

La Patte d’Ours, is Located on the “Calf ” Jars, a small hamlet in the heart of the campaign Berrichonne in central France. Two hours south of Paris and between Sancerre vineyards, heather fields and sheep. La Bear Paw welcomes you for a day, a weekend or a week of rest and relaxation. For bears and those who love them , Jean -François and Jean- Jacques offer a heated swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi. Or just take a relaxing stroll while enjoying the culinary specialties of our region and the famous wines that accompany them. There are also Many ” wilderness ” activities available such as walking, horseback riding, canoeing and also nearby golf & tennis.

Two bedrooms are on the first floor in a building adjacent to the main house. Both have a large double bed , bathroom with shower, separate toilet , and free wifi.   Your meals will be served downstairs in the professional kitchen by Jean -François , now known as “ratatouille ” and can offer a gourmet dinner using local produce, (Please confirm when booking) . Breakfast is also served here, or if the weather allows, served outside. Relax as you are nestled in a hilly wooded countryside where you can be at peace and feel a hint of freedom putting you in the best of moods.
