Help fund the first ever Pride celebration in Rwanda
All Out is partnering with Isange Rwanda to raise money for the first ever Pride celebration in Rwanda!
This will be a historic chance for LGBT+ people in Rwanda to show others that they are not alone and that LGBT+ lives should be celebrated – not forced into the shadows.
“Rwanda is largely still an intolerant country for LGBT+ people. We have zero protections and experience little acknowledgement that we even exist,” says Albert Nobonibo, a popular Gospel singer who was ostracized by family, friends and the public after coming out in 2019. “Many people use twisted religious views to call us sinful or evil. Young LGBT+ Rwandans see virtually no positive representation here.”
“But it’s going to take about $15,000 to pull this off,” says Nabonibo. “Funds that we just don’t have.”
This is why they need our help to make the first Pride celebration in Rwanda happen. The fundraiser ends on May 31, so donate today!
For every donation of $50 or more, you will receive a very special Pride ‘21 jersey, so you can celebrate this historic event anywhere in the world!
