Fierté Ours Paris 2024 in Pictures
Another Fierté Ours Paris (Bear Pride Paris) event is in the books and the gentlemen of Les Ours de Paris (The Paris Bears) were gracious enough to share some photos from this year’s festivities (special thanks to Raphaël Barc). Check them out below!
This year’s Fierté Ours took place from May 8th through the 12th and featured an assortment of bar nights, hangouts, picnics, dinners, sauna visits (GRRR!), the infamous Bear Cruise and of course the big election of Monsieur Ours 2024.
The Bears’den, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, served as the home bar for the event with the bears gathering there throughout the long weekend for drinks, karaoke and a bit of a boogie. The boat cruise was held aboard the ship ‘Le Paris’ and included an all you can eat buffet of desserts and sweets for the bears to enjoy as they floated along the beautiful Seine River taking in the sites. And the grand finale, the Mr. Ours Election took place in front of a packed house of bears at Petit Bain. As always, the competition was fierce, but Moudish walked away with the sash this year. When all was said and done about 2000 beautiful bears from all over France, Europe and the world came to celebrate Bear Pride with the Paris Bears. A fitting tribute to a wonderful event.
Next year Fierté Ours Paris will take place from May 28th to June 1st and it will coincide with the 25th anniversary of Les Ours de Paris, so it just might be the perfect time to join them!
