Fire Island Bear Weekend is back, and it’s bigger, bolder, and hotter than ever! Think sun-drenched
pool parties, sweat-slicked dance floors, clothing optional afternoons, and more bears, cubs,
otters, and admirers than you can wrap your paws around.

From sunrise on the sand to last call under the stars, this is the weekend you’ve been waiting all year for. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Watch the sparks fly at the Mr. Fire Island Bear Contest where the island’s sexiest bears strut,
flex, and shake what their daddy gave ’em for the crown. Trust us, you’ll want a front row
seat for that!

This isn’t just a party, it’s a full on celebration of brotherhood, body confidence, and
unapologetic desire. With hot bodies, hotter beats, and a vibe you won’t find anywhere else on the
planet, make sure to bring your appetite.

THURSDAY NIGHT – BEERS & BEARS

Get the weekend going at Cherry’s on the Bay for the legendary BEERS & BEARS Opening Night Meat & Greet at 8:00 PM.

Hosted by the one and only Danny J with beats from DJ Ted Bishop. Grab a cold one, lock eyes with someone dangerous, and let the games begin.

Free with your All Access Weekend Pass or $10 at the door.

FRIDAY – BEAR ASS TEA POOL PARTY

starting at 4:00 PM, Strip down (or don’t!) at the Bear Ass Tea Pool Party at the Belvedere Guest House for Men. This is clothing optional with an open bar and music by DJ INSYX.

Hosted by Urban Bear’s Robert Valin & Danny J, it will be wet, wild, and exactly the kind of afternoon you’ll be telling stories about for years.

FRIDAY – HIGH TEA AT THE PAVILION (Post Bear Ass Tea)

You came, you stripped, you sipped, but the night is just getting started!

After Bear Ass Tea wraps, sashay your slightly sunburned self over to The Pines Pavilion for HIGH TEA, the iconic Fire Island ritual where the dance floor heats up, the beats drop, and the boys come out to play.

Kick off your flip flops, grab a cocktail, and keep the party going under the disco lights.

SATURDAY AT NOON – Fire Island Bear Week VIP PARTY

Turn it up at the Fire Island Bear Week VIP Party at Reflections in Fire Island Pines, featuring the legendary RuPaul’s Drag Race and All Stars’ ALEXIS MICHELLE.

Cocktails, charisma, and a room full of the weekend’s hottest faces. This one is exclusive, so dress to thrill!

SATURDAY LATE AFTERNOON – MR. FIRE ISLAND BEAR CONTEST

The crown is up for grabs at the Mr. Fire Island Bear Contest. It starts at 4:00 PM and will be at Cherry’s on the Bay.

SATURDAY NIGHT – TRUCK STOP

The moment you’ve been waiting for. TRUCK STOP at The Pines Pavilion, the weekend’s blockbuster main event! Presented by Fire Island Bear Weekend, The Urban Bear, MISTR and The Tryst.

Doors are at 10:00 PM. Powerhouse sounds from DJ Brady Prince (BRUT). Bring your stamina, cause you’re gonna need it.

SUNDAY – BEARDED DRAG BRUNCH AT THE BLUE WHALE

Honey, brunch isn’t a meal… It’s a performance! And you’re already late.

Pull yourself out of bed (or somebody else’s), throw on something fabulous, and float over to The Blue Whale for BEARDED DRAG BRUNCH. It’s the campiest, hairiest, and most deliciously unhinged brunch on the island. Think bottomless mimosas, beards in full beat, lashes for days, and queens who will read you for filth between bites of eggs benedict.

They’ll bring the show. You bring the beards. And honey, anything else you want to throw on to get into the spirit, you better bring it! We’re talking feather boas, last season’s caftan, your nana’s clip-ons, and your best Maybelline, plus that wig you swore you’d never wear in public. The more, the merrier, and the messier, the better!

Drag is strongly encouraged. Glamour is non-negotiable. Talent? Optional. It’s drag. It’s brunch. It’s beards. It’s everything. Come hungry. Leave glittered.

SUNDAY – THE URBAN BEAR MEGA POOL PARTY

Go out with a splash at The Urban Bear Mega Pool Party from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tryst Pool Club in gorgeous Fire Island Pines. Cabanas, luggage check, and pure poolside seduction with DJ NOBL3 B3AR on the decks. The perfect last dip before reality calls you home.

SUNDAY NIGHT – MUSICAL SUNDAYS SING-A-LONG / DANCE PARTY

Don’t tell me not to live, just sit and putter around then, cause honey, we’re going OUT.

After you’ve wrung every last drop out of the pool party, lace up your dancing shoes (or your character shoes) and belt it out at MUSICAL SUNDAYS at The Pines Pavilion. From Sondheim to Schwartz, Wicked to Wizard of Oz, Chicago to Chicago (we’ll play it twice), it’s the ultimate sing-a-long, dance-along, cry-a-little, kiss-a-stranger send-off to the weekend.

Bring your vibrato. Bring your jazz hands. Bring whatever’s left of your voice. If you don’t know the words, just lip sync for your life!

MONDAY, JUNE 15 – THE PIXIE AVENTURA SHOW (The Bonus Round)

Think the weekend is over? Oh honey, you don’t know Pixie.

For those of you sticking around past checkout (smart move), we’ve saved the cherry on top.

THE PIXIE AVENTURA SHOW lands at The Pines Pavilion to send you off in style, and by style, we mean sequins, shade, and showstoppers that will leave your weekend wig snatched, packed, and shipped home separately.

Pixie is serving everything: the gags, the glamour, the high notes, the low blows, and at least one number you’ll be humming all the way back on the ferry. If your bags aren’t packed yet, leave them. This is the perfect goodbye kiss to Fire Island Bear Week 2026.

Showtime to be announced soon, and the dress code is whatever survived the weekend.
