‘Drag Race UK’ star Bimini Bon Boulash wins Miss Congeniality!

Bon Boulash for Congeniality? Why, yes!

RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season two winner Lawrence Chaney revealed in a video with PopBuzz which season two won Miss Congeniality — It’s Bimini Bon Boulash! In the video, Lawrence confirmed Bimini as the winner after revealing that she thought Bimini was going to actually win the race.

“I thought Bimini was gonna win. I was ready to praise my queen, my savior, my PMA hero,” Lawrence said, referring to the season two episode where Bimini explains to her that PMA stands for “positive mental attitude”. “I was just so mind-blown when it was announced it was me.”

Lawrence adds: “What a worthy winner. Bimini is such a caring person. When you’re in a competition format, there’s not a lot of people you think wouldn’t be out for themselves. Bimini is zipping you up, gluing nails to someone else before she’s even got her frock on. She’s an amazing human and deserves more than this but she definitely deserves this as well.”

Though Lawrence won the competition, everyone seems to love Bimini Bon Boulash! Bimini is the most followed queen in Drag Race UK history, so far, she won the most RuPeter badges this season, and even the Mayor of London, where Bimini resides, took to Twitter to express how much he loves her.

Mayor Sadiq Khan tweeted after the finale: “Here in London you can be who you want to be, and love who you want to live. Condragulations to London’s finest Bimini Bon Boulash for a great Drag Race U.K. — you will always be our winner.”

Bimini also took to Twitter to express gratitude for her Miss Congeniality win. “Honoured that I was awarded Miss Congeniality from the UK2 girls,” she tweeted. “Love them all, they’re all b*tches xxx.”

There seems to be no arguing the fact that Bimini Bon Boulash has absolutely won the People’s Choice Award! And though she didn’t win this season, we all know that she’s probably going to be on a season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, right? Mama Ru, let’s make that happen.
