Big Dipper to headline Key West Bear Weekend and schedule confirmed
The organisers of Key West Bear Weekend have announced that gay bear rapper Big Dipper will be headlining Key West Bear Weekend! Plus, the full schedule for the newly expanded Weekend, now in its third year, has been confirmed.
Big Dipper is an independent artist who has been self-producing provocative queer and empowering music and videos since 2011. He has racked up 3 million views on his YouTube channel and his live show has been performed internationally. A one of a kind artist, known as the go-to bear of raunchy internet rap, he has become a staple at Pride events throughout the US, and now he joins the hugely successful Key West Bear Weekend for their third year.
Big Dipper has an extensive catalog of viral music videos and songs, including his 2017 ode to sparkling water “LaCroix Boi”. Known for his creative video concepts, you can find him portraying a ravenous boy scout in “Meat Quotient”, an oversized banana in “Chunkita”, and a mermaid in “Vibin”. Big Dipper is also a big body positivity advocate, regularly featuring plus size bears in his music videos. We love his awesome song and video THICCNESS which is a very sexy ode to bears!

The infamous Island House welcomes the bears and their admirers as you arrive in sunny Key West! Grab a swimsuit (or not!) and meet the rest of the gang with lunch poolside, cool cocktails, and new friends. Included with KWBW weekend pass or $30 for Island House day pass.
5pm-6.30pm – Greet the Meat Happy Hour @ Island House 1129 Fleming St.
Island House happy hour is a Gay Key West MUST! Hotel guests receive an premium open-bar happy hour, and men staying elsewhere enjoy 2-4-1’s on EVERYTHING! The Island House Café will be whipping up tons of FREE gourmet appetizers, passed around poolside by their fabulous naked men. Start the weekend right by meeting the rest of our furry friends in an all-male, clothing optional oasis. Locks and lockers available. 9pm – Bear World Magazine’s Monster Ball, Bourbon Street Pub, 724 Duval St (Back pool area)
Bear World Magazine invites you to their Monster Ball. Get dressed up in your most shockingly monstrous look and come join the other scary bears at our Halloween spooktacular! Prizes given for the best costume! $15 cover, included with KWBW weekend pass.
Friday Nov 1st

Island House plays host to another pool party! Grab a swimsuit (or not!) and join your fellow bears poolside for food, cocktails and new friends. Included with KWBW weekend pass or $30 for Island House day pass.

Bear World Magazine invites our VIP pass holders to an exclusive cocktail party with a meet & greet and performance by BIG DIPPER. Included only with KWBW VIP weekend pass.
9pm – Mr Key West Bear Contest and Party, Bourbon Street Pub, 724 Duval St (Cabaret Room)
Join the crowd to see the competition for the Mr Key West Bear title with celebrity guest host! The winner of this contest receives a $200 cash prize and a handmade leather sash. Mr. Key West Bear will be expected to raise money and / or raise awareness for a local Key West LGBTQ cause, however you are not required to be a Key West resident. 11am-1pm Leathermaster Shopping Experience
The Leather Master at 418 Appelrouth Lane is offering a unique shopping experience to our bears which includes an open bar and clothing optional shopping. Come on down and get all the supplies you need for FURBALL! Leather, sex toys, hot bears, shopping and cocktails, who could ask for anything more?
1pm-6pm – Kingdom of Neptune Pool Party @ Equator Resort, 822 Fleming St, Key West.
Cross the line with your fellow bears at the Equator Resort as we journey into the Kingdom of Neptune with a pool party, music, drinks and nautical surprises! Included with KWBW weekend pass or $10 cover.
9pm – Furball @ Sidebar, 504 Angela St.
Joe Fiore’s world-famous bear/gear dance party returns as Key West Bear Weekend’s main event. Included with KWBW weekend pass or $20 cover
Sunday Nov 3rd
12pm-4pm – Bear Ass Tea Party @ Island House 1129 Fleming St.
Our host hotel does what they do best on Sundays, as locals and visitors alike gather for this frisky clothing-optional shindig! Music videos, $4 New Amsterdam Vodka and $5 Stoli cocktails, raffles, giveaways, drag queens, and free shots! Whether you’re fighting the hair of the dog or you’re a pool party professional, Island House on Sundays is the place to be. Included with KWBW weekend pass or $30 for Island House day pass.
6pm-8pm – Farewell Party @Island House 1129 Fleming St

Key West Bear Weekend passes are the best value way to enjoy the weekend. All events and access to Island House amenities on a daily basis come to $195 if purchased individually.
Wristbands are available for purchase or pickup during scheduled collection times (see above) or at the entrance to the Monster Ball, VIP Cocktail Party, Mr Key West Bear Party and the Neptune Pool Party.
