Bear Voyages Invites You to Travel with Your Tribe

Bear Voyages, the cruise company run by and made for bears, invites you to ‘travel with your tribe’ on two exciting upcoming voyages.

Founded by Dave Fowlie in 2019, Bear Voyages allows members of our community to travel together in a way that alleviates the pressure that sometimes comes when traveling with say straight or more ‘mainstream’ LGBT groups. There is a shorthand between bears where we understand our common culture and can feel free to be ourselves and show off our bodies. You really cannot put a price tag on the level of peace and comfort that comes along with that feeling.

Dave has over 15 years of experience in the travel industry which he pours into curating these unique trips. “We create welcoming experiences,” Dave explains, “where our guests can embrace who they are, while experiencing unique destinations and culture”. Currently Bear Voyages has two excursions planned: the Royal Harmony Galveston and the Caribbean 2025 Cruise.

From September 29 to October 6, 2024 Bear Voyages will be sailing from Galveston, Texas on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class ship Harmony of the Seas. From first-at-sea feats to standard comforts you know and love, you’ll find so many ways to make memories aboard this world-class vessel — like the tallest slide at sea, Ultimate Abyss℠, deck-defying stunts at the AquaTheater, and the robot-helmed Bionic Bar.
