Bear New Zealand Week Returns for 15th Edition!
Bear New Zealand Week, the highly anticipated annual event for the bear community in New Zealand, is back for its 15th edition! From February 5th to 9th, 2025, bears, cubs, and admirers from all over the world will gather in Auckland for five days of fun and celebration.
Since its start in 2010, the event has firmly established Auckland, New Zealand as a key destination on the international Bear Event map. Over the years, this vibrant festival has grown in both size and reputation, attracting attendees from around the globe. The pinnacle moment for the event is the crowning of Mr Bear New Zealand, a competition which typically includes several rounds where participants showcase their personalities, talents, and bear spirit.
This year’s Bear New Zealand Week promises a fantastic lineup of events, including everyone’s favorites and some exciting new additions. Attendees can look forward to:
- Mr Bear New Zealand Competition (Friday 7th) – The pinnacle event where the new Mr Bear NZ will be crowned!
- Tri-Nations Dance Party (Saturday 8th) – A spectacular night of music and dance.
- Funny, Furry & Fierce (Thursday 6th) – A comedy night that guarantees laughter and entertainment.
