Bear-centric music showcase ‘BAIT’ launches at Rockbar NYC
A new queer indie music showcase at Rockbar NYC, specifically centered on the Bear community and its admirers is here. Are you ready to take the BAIT?
Presented by Bryce Quartz, Necessary Outlet Productions and Bear World Magazine and sponsored by Bear-Tastic, the inaugural BAIT will be held on Thursday, March 31 at 8PM EST at Rockbar NYC, and will return on the last Thursday of every month. The first set of headliners will feature sexed-up performances by Bear and Bear-bait artists 3DDI3 WAYN3, Bryce Quartz, ALONE and Jack Tracy with DJ Chauncey Dandridge on the beats and gogos Danny J and Bandit keeping the crowd growling between sets.
“I am thrilled to launch my latest queer music showcase specifically for the Bears, who have always been one of the most welcoming and joyful families within our larger queer community,” said Jack Tracy of Necessary Outlet Productions, who will also be performing at BAIT.
“I’m even more thrilled to have the support of our sponsor Bear-Tastic and our media sponsor Bear World Magazine, who both share Bryce and my vision for creating a vibrant circuit for queer pop musicians in New York.” To compliment the show, BAIT will also hold a raffle to give audience members a chance to take home some of the gogo’s attire provided by sponsor Bear-Tastic.
“BAIT is the show I’ve been so eager to start since I moved to NYC last year,” said co-producer and headliner Bryce Quartz. “I’m not only excited to launch this new residency at Rockbar with a kick-ass lineup, but also to reveal what’s in store at BAIT in the months to come.
