YASSS, Bears! Crossings, an LGBTQ bar in Lexington, Kentucky, is starting a Bear night!
YASSS, Homo! It’s a leather bar, it’s a gay bar, it’s a drag bar. And, it’s a place to play pool, a place for bourbon, misfits, and charity in the heart of Lexington, Kentucky. It’s Crossings.
Started over 30 years ago, Crossings Lexington is a queer dive bar located in the heart of downtown Lexington. Almost every event hosted at Crossings is to benefit one of the wonderful philanthropic organizations working to make life better for LGBTQ folks in the Commonwealth.
The new owners purchased the bar in 2019, and have focused on expanding upon the bar’s already colorful past and making it even more inclusive, welcoming, and supportive of the community. And yes, this includes more Bear functions!
Starting January 27th, the last Thursday of every month will be Bear Night at Crossings and all are welcome! The fun begins at 6:30pm.
Enjoy any of their cocktails or ice cold local beer, and drink specials for shirtless Bears! WOOF! For regulars, it’s also a time to get together with old friends and make new ones as well!
You also may not want to miss out on Sexy Saturdays! This super sexy event is produced by Crossings Lexington and hosted by the illustrious Kali Dupree. This year they are bringing a little something new to the mix. Did someone say burlesque??
You won’t want to miss their awesome lineup of featured entertainers, including Ginger LeSnapps, Gio D Valentine, Chad Vincent, and 2021 KY Black Pride Jayy Rogerz! The show begins at 11pm with a $5 entry.
That’s very curious. The local / state bear club used to hold monthly events at Crossings….. for years. I was their home bar. Up until the new owners decided bears weren’t profitable. Curious. ☕️
