2025 Nissan Altima: A Simple Sedan for Simple Times
A basic sedan with basic features, the 2025 Nissan Altima may be what you need to just get through your day in one piece – and not feel fragmented over other stuff beyond your control.
I will admit, there was nothing overly impressive or smooth when driving this year’s Altima – and sometimes, that’s all you want in a ride to work. But it does handle well. It is composed and there is nothing about it that should have you reaching for pills, booze or whatever you now take to cope with 2025. Perhaps a little Enya music while you drive may help.
And if you can find a base S trim (probably already on dealership lots) you may be able to get it starting at the advertised price of $27K US.

Again, this is a basic car with basic features. There’s just over 15 cubic feet of cargo room in the trunk, but mileage comes in at 27 city / 39 highway for the base trim with Front-Wheel Drive. (All-Wheel Drive is available but that, of course, will affect fuel economy.)
Standard features include remote engine start, rear parking sensors, blind-spot warning with rear traffic alerts, forward collision warning and a host of other features, like a split 60/40 rear seat that will allow you to fold the seats down to get more stuff inside.
If you are in the market for a basic sedan for your basic life, give the 2025 Nissan Altima a spin. And I do mean take it for a test drive: I want to make sure you are comfortable and happy before you cash-out your bonds.
Also, if you can find one on the lot ready-to-go, you really should look into it. New car prices for 2025 may soon become as expensive as eggs are at the moment.
I know that here, in these automotive columns, I should not go on ad-nauseam about all the peril we are in (as a world) due to one man’s desire for power and infamy (I use the term ‘man’ only in a biological sense; nothing he has ever done shows that he is a man).

In relation to cars, those new 25% tariffs are soon to be in effect. The upshot will be (for starters) higher car prices. And should you need a new refrigerator or water heater, those too use foreign parts. If you rent, plan on your landlord passing the premiums onto you.
Again, please stay vigilant. Make sure all your papers are in order, to protect you and those you love.
Now is a great time for love. If you have it, treasure it. If you don’t, get off your arse and start looking for it. There are so many Bears who starving for love.
Don’t be one of them. Not now.
