2021 Lexus LC500 Convertible: Perfect to Ring in 2022!

Fairy Tale-ers would have you believe that Cinderella took an old pumpkin carriage pulled by three tiny mice to the New Year’s Eve ball. And that she danced only with one skinny twinkie suitor who said he was in a prince.

Truth is, Cinders was smarter than that.

She got ahold of her wicked stepmother’s 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible and showed up for the New Year’s Eve bash looking stunning. And arriving with all the power of a 5.0-liter V8 with 471 horses not in need of any mice to help. (And she didn’t need to know how to drive a stick shift, though she can.)

And — She could have her choice of any bear at the party.  Even after the clock struck twelve.

For a starting price of $101,100 US (it’s still cheaper than a house) you too can step into a last-of-the-model-year 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible. And, wow, will you enjoy it!

This sportscar has everything: 20-inch cast-alloy wheels, magnesium paddle shifters, a power soft top with active roll bars, power 10-way adjustable front seat (yes, there are backseats), leather everywhere inside, 10.3-inch touchscreen with Lexus navigation (yet Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible as well), 12-speaker premium sound, push button stop/start, …. the list goes on, as it should for the price.

Lexus (Toyota) has a great safety system package that includes necessities like pre-collision warning, radar-ed cruise control, intelligent high beams, lane-keep assist with steering assist and lane-departure warning and six airbags, to name a few.

Safe to say, I had fun driving this baby around town. Yeah, sure, it was cold, and having my top down and exposing myself to the elements in freezing temperatures required bundling up while listening to Christmas music on Sirius XM (love this streaming service).

Of course, you can also get the hardtop coupe for only $93,050 US. At that nosebleed point, I’d throw in the extra $8,050 and change and get the convertible.

Also safe to say, this should not be your primary car or your only car.  It is Rear-Wheel Drive, but anymore, even if you live in a warm climate, that may not be enough for you to get by during a rough day of weather.

This is a car to enjoy, but know its limitations — and know yours.  Space is at a premium, fellas.

As we close the books on 2021, everyone here at Bear World wishes you and all those in your bear world all the best for a very happy and prosperous 2022.

We really do love you, guys!
