World Pride – Let’s Hear it for the Bears!
June is Pride Month and World Pride has kicked off in New York City. The city is celebrating all month long with parties, and picnics, art events, and more across the city. But what is there to do that’s for the bears?
A lot, of course, this is the home of the weekly Beers & Bears event and Furball was born in this city! So, here’s a roundup of what to do in date order so you can plan your June accordingly!
Beers and Bears – June 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th
All month long you can party with the hottest bears in town at Shane Tate’s weekly party every Thursday 6pm-Midnight at The Ritz Bar & Lounge. With gorgeous gogo bears, drag queen hosts and a BBQ on the deck… what more could a bear want! Their special Pride Edition is June 27th, expect it to be out of this world and busy! TY’s – Throughout June
Ty’s is 47 years old this year, as old as me, and it’s the first Bear Bar I ever went to before I even knew what a bear was! I loved it of course, and I judge bear bars compared to Ty’s. They have numerous events on throughout June, so check out their website: www.tys.nyc

The Urban Bear sets sail once again for a high-octane sunset party cruise along NYC’s Hudson River

Beefcake’s 7th Annual Fantastic Voyage – June 29th

Furball – June 29th
Furball World Pride Edition is going to be off the charts, and I mean that literally! One of our favorite DJ’s, Barry Harris, is keeping it alive all night long. Barry (interviewed on the cover this month) will be making sure this will be a FURBALL to remember!

Rockbar closes out the month with their Pride event on Sunday 30th, the afternoon of the pride parade.
