Tidal Wave 16 Through the Eyes of Dejan Zmijanjac

Tidal Wave 16: Weekend in Bearadise took place this past June 20-24 at Margaritaville in Palm Springs. It was the event’s debut outing in Palm Springs having previously been in Las Vegas and Orlando before that. The event featured a Singles Mixer, a Couple’s Mixer, Game Room, Drag Queen Bingo, a full spa, Bear Yoga, Daily Pool Parties, X Rated Bingo, Trivia, Bearaoke, FETISH (Gear Dance), and the Tidal Wave Marketplace.

Dejan Zmijanjac (Twitter/X @Routeunknown69), one of the official event photographers shared the gorgeous pictures you will see below. Of the event itself he said:

“This was my second year photographing Tidal Wave and its the people like organizers Danny Gallegos and David Walters, and all the volunteers who work tirelessly to make sure everyone has a great time that keeps me coming back. The best part about working as photographer for an event such as this is I get to see my friends who I don’t get to see often, and every year I make many new ones. I also love that everybody is welcomed, all shapes and sizes, and everybody is there to relax and have a good time. It’s about a community that comes from all over the world to be together, to celebrate and to have a fantastic weekend.”

Having attended Tidal Wave ourselves last year, it is indeed a good time with wonderful people. Next year’s event will take place in Palm Springs from June 18- 23, 2025. Venue is yet to be confirmed but the theme is “Camp Morning Wood”. Start planning those outfits! But in the meantime enjoy the photos from this year’s event.
